quality is a concern.  Best of both worlds - clean machine and good tasting
coffee. Blueberry breakfast muffins and whatever else you get out of your

It's not. Our water tastes great straight from the tap but run an under the
counter solid block charcoal filter anyway. And it's moderately hard 6 to 7
grains but choose not to use a water softener preferring the taste as is.
Annual preventative descaling the direct plumbed Bric' is not hard.
Preventative descaling Silvia wasn't hard either. Periodic descaling is just
part of normal maintenance IMO.
