I must say it's nice to roast in 1/2 to 1 pound increments. The roast =
was very even but I think it might have been a bit to fast. I made full =
city ++ in 12 minutes.  I started with a 5 minute preheat and 300.  Went =
up to 500 until first crack. Backed off to 400 for about 2 minutes then =
up to 450. I hit first crack at around 6:50. Is this to quick? Well =
hey I still have coffee and thats good.....:)

Hi Brian,
What is SC/GG? Only you can decide if you like the coffee that results =
from your roast but you may want to try something a little longer, here =
is just a sample profile to try that I have learned from others and =
tried with some success.
Get the heat up in the 300-350 range as soon as possible and give it =
about 3 to 4 min to dry and heat evenly
then start a slow ramp up to first crack at 400F (temp will varry =
depending on your probe location) shoot for first crack at somewhere =
between 9 and 14 minutes. When you have first crack going good reduce =
heat (minimum is to hold what you've got max would be to slowly rise a =
few degrees a minute) and let it carmalize for 2 to 3 minutes on its way =
to 2nd crack (around 450). Terminate and cool anytime after the =
extension on first crack, start of 2nd, or into 2nd as you like.
Good Luck,
Ross

Ross,
That's a "Stir-Crazy" popcorn machine with a "Galloping Gourmet" convection
oven above it...
Check out this thread - will start to help with what it is...http://www.homeroasters.org/php/forum/viewthread.php?forum_id2&thread_id40&rowstart
