Topic: Sidamo and Decaf Sidamo (24 lines)

Today I pulled a shot of Sidamo, roasted to Full City+ 5 days ago, and 
made it into a cap.  It had the most intense fruit to start, and the 
finish was a wonderful deep chocolate note.  The chocolate got more 
intense as the cup cooled.  Just for giggles, I decided to repeat the 
entire process with a Decaf Sidamo that I roasted to the same roast 
level, and on the same day.  The 2 did not taste the same.... but, the 
decaf was every bit as enjoyable.  One would never suspect that it was 
decaf.  The fruit notes were not as intense, but the chocolate was all 
there.  I am really enjoying experimenting with the SO coffees as 
espresso.  Until I began home roasting, I never enjoyed espresso, or 
espresso based drinks without sugar or some other sweetener.  Now, I 
wouldn't dream of putting a sweetener into espresso or espresso based 
drinks made from my home roast.  Amazing, this.
