Topic: Black Gold--PBS Program on Coffee (10 msgs / 176 lines)
1) From: Edward Rasmussen
I just noticed that our local PBS station (KRMA) out of Denver is
showing a program on small coffee growers and the global coffee industry
tonight at 10 p.m. MDT. The Wyoming PBS station, KCWC is showing it at
9 p.m. If you want to catch it in your own region, check your local
schedules. The show is titled Black Gold and it's in the PBS series
"Independent Lens". The program runs 90 minutes.

A loaf of cracked whole grain melange flour bread will be done about 10:15p=
,
and not only do I get the heel, I get to toast the next slice in the $2
thrift store convection oven/ toaster. My daily bread will then become the
vehicle for a real slathering of EV Coconut oil or maybe a couple of slices
of sharp Cheddar cheese.
A 16oz Captain Morgan stein of PCE 1.7km to 1.8km on 36g ground at 55 will
be all set to brew before 10p, and I'll have to play with the bread during
the breaks. The breaks will be longer because I'm not a faithful Viewer/
Member of KRMA. Not since the bird brains stiffed me a DVD that had a guest
appearance of Virgil Fox and Liberace playing together on the Baldwin 9ft
grand piano and Fox on the Rodgers Touring Organ.
I'll watch anyway, thank you. Time to turn on the TV set and brew the
coffee.
Cheers, and thanks, Ed -RayO, aka Opa!

Hey Ed, I didn't realize you lived in the Louisville area. I went to
medical school at U of L. Still a Wildcat fan, however! (At least for
Basketball... for Football, it is Ohio State, all the way!)

Ed, uwyo.edu address? I did my grad work in physics at the U. of Wyoming and they've never offered me an e-mail address
But I finished back in 1977 and moved from Laramie to Dallas to work for Texas Instruments and then four years later to
Denver. TI couldn't spell physicist so they made me an engineer. My god, was that 30 years ago?!
