Topic: gold coffee filters (elfo is neat) (4 msgs / 111 lines)

While browsing the coffee section of a kitchen store in Hawaii I found a
nice swissgold (Cup O'Tea) - One cup Tea-Filter. I had to have it. I use
it to brew my coffee when on the road. The advantage is it fits inside your
cup right to the bottom and you can let your coffee steep for a while- sort
of a reverse press if you will, with all the other convenience factors of no
filters. It will replace my Mellita pourover and takes up less room in the
suitcase.

Cool, Swissgold does make some good products IMO.
Just curious, was the tea filter you got this onehttp://www.swissgold.com/e/t_produkt01.phpThey would work differently being in the water for steep infusion, and">http://www.swissgold.com/e/t_produkt03.phpOrhttp://www.swissgold.com/e/t_produkt01.phpThey would work differently being in the water for steep infusion, and
likely in some ways easier, than the one cup pour over Swissgold designed
for coffee that Tom quit carrying in favor of the Aeropress for one cup
brewing.
Definitely look worth considering for travel instead of press or pour over.
Especially if space at a premium.

Dennis,
You must have missed the links in my reply earlier. Just go to Swissgold
website (www.swissgold.com), select English (or language of your choice:-),
select products, select tea.
