Now at more properly 5 day rested for straight shots actually not bad at all
for a dark Southern Italian style shot. Not my preference for this or
virtually any espresso blend, but not offensive either. Good crema fairly
smooth and creamy with of course a bit of roast bite, but not overly so,
even a bit of dark chocolate & caramel to go with the roast bitters, overall
decent taste balance. The linger does become a bit "edgy" after 5 minutes or
so though. Pulled shot down @ 198f top of HX hump main shot 196f. Think
other's might find it interesting to taste shots of the same blend roasted
more Southern versus Northern Italian (or lighter) styles so going to vac
and freeze the rest of this for PNWG V.
