Dennis,
When I was in Qatar earlier this week I picked up
2 kilos of Yemeni beans for roasting. They were
good the last time I bought some and I'm hoping
to find exactly the right flavor profile for
them. But your idea of a blend gets methinking.
I have some Sidamo in my stash. I wonder what a
blend of those two would be like?
Yesterday I landed in Dubai after a morning
flight from Doha and found that I had 14 hours to
kill before Lufthansaleftfor Frankfurt and back
home to the US. So I took a cab to the spice souq
and found that they also sold green beans, some
Vienamese, some Indian, and some from Yemen.
Since I already bought over 4 pounds of beans I
wasn't able to buy more, but next time I go back
I'll have to head over there and get more.
