Topic: brewing large amounts of coffee (4 msgs / 92 lines)

Hello all,
I ran into a situation over the weekend where I had lots of people over but
didn't have a real good way of brewing lots of coffee. I use either an
aeropress or 1l press pot for my usual brewing. What options are available to
brew for say 15 people and still get a good brew? Thanks!

15 zasses and 15 Aeropresses. Make 'em work for the good stuff.

Richard,
With larger groups, I don't have the time to use more specialized methods
like my Cona Vacuum brewer. So, I crank up the Technivorm and get my 1.5L
Thermal Pots ready to receive brew. The Technivorm pumps out great coffee
that has always been a crowd pleaser in my home. I can make a pot in just
over 5mins and then repeat to fill up my thermal airpots.

Hi Richard,
When I have many people over to my house I use my Melitta pour over. I
might have to make a couple of pots to satisfy the crowd but everyone always
enjoys my coffee. Personally I prefer the Aeropress or French Press but a
good cup o' drip is good sometimes too.
Happy Brewing,
Brandon
