Topic: FIMT Brand Roaster (3 msgs / 76 lines)
1) From: James De Leo
Hi everyone,
My name is James, I'm from Perth Western Australia. I have an old Italian
FIMT roaster which likely dates dack to the late 1950s / early 1960s. It is
a small batch store roaster. I want to restore it. I am just putting out a
general 'Can anyone point me in a good direction to start?' appeal.
Or has anyone come into contact with the FIMT brand of roaster from Turin?
Thanks very much.
Kind Regards
James

Do you know how to roast coffee? That would help.
As to parts, you will likely have to source those from Italy. It seems that
roaster was fairly popular in Italy, so there are likely a few businesses
over there still servicing them or providing parts.
What does it need to get it going? A thorough cleaning? Are parts missing?
Damaged?
