Topic: USPS flat rate, replaced Harvey (18 msgs / 507 lines)
1) From: Thbull
Morning,
I went to order my greens and noticed that I was not able to select
the USPS Flat Rate; it did not even show up in the shipping options.
I kept my order to 12 lbs. and am pretty sure that all other info was
correct. Have others been able to select the flat rate?
I know this is a small order, but I wanted to get my Jacu coffee
before its all gone.
Thanks,
thbull

look for USPS Flat Rate in the shipping options - it's there in the online
storefront system... $9.85
This shouldn't change your ability to buy birdpoobean - just how fast you
receive it (as the crow flies)

You may get your wish....
Here's the Casa Bugatti homepage....
http://www.casabugatti.it/english/ecaffe.htmlThey currently only offer the Bugatti espresso machine, and not the
grinder. But if you hang in there, or show up with a demand, you'll
probably get the grinder you are asking for. But you may have priced it to=
o
low...

OK, here's what I figured out...
I can add as much coffee as I want, use the shipping options and the
Flat Rate is there. IF I add a sampler pack, the Flat Rate does NOT
show up.
If I just choose an 8 (1/2 lbs.) the Flat Rate does not show up. The
same thing happens with the 4 pack and the 8 double pack.
Just be sure to sollow up the order with a not about using the Flat Rate price.

tom mentioned in an earlier post his frustration with the new rates from USPS, FED EX and UPS.
He did mention that Harvey would be suspended on a temp basis.
Just ordre what you want and use UPS. I am not sure where you are but you will get it asap.

UPS almost always took a week to get stuff to Alabama. It was really
frustrating to watch it in tracking get to Jackson Mississippi in two
days or less and wait there for another four before they sent it on.
I believe with USPS flat rate, aka Harvey I have eight two day
deliveries and one three day. USPS priority is much faster in this
part of the country.

Ditto for the coast of Mississippi. UPS gets the package to Jackson
(3 hours away) and it sits there for days. I love the USPS flat rate
option (a.k.a. Harvey) because I almost always get the coffee in two
days. I am glad Tom offers this.

2 days to Boston. I dread having to order stuff like the Aeropress that I
couldn't flat rate (maybe you can now, haven't checked) cause of the lead
time. Which reminds me, better get that order in, have a 2 week driving
vacation coming up and will need a road kit! Wish the Zass was available =/
