Topic: Past Orders (10 msgs / 211 lines)
1) From: Aaron
Is there any way to go onto the SM's site or whatever, and find what you
ordered over the past few months. In the my account section or something?
Im hearing you all gloating about the great new coffees' and I can't
remember where I left off on the list on SM's site with what I ordered
over the past few weeks. (and no I didn't save the paperwork or any of
that either... yes yes. I know :/ )
I really don't want to call them either and ask hey what did I order
recently, as thatd be too big a waste of their time really and don't
want to do that.
if not Ill just go down the list from most recent to oldest until I hit
12 pounds... that always worked before and it's not like im going to get
a bad coffee even if I do duplicate something.
Thanks
aaron

not sure there's a way to do that, but you're right about one thing: you
won't get a bad coffee if you duplicate something. i wish i could have
ordered more of the recent DP Sidamo in time (IMV too, but i'm
especially going to miss the Sidamo-only 8-9oz left of each. :-( ). i am
reordering the Indian Monsooned Malabar as i've found it to be an
essential component in my espresso blending.

I put my packing lists on my fridge so i have an inventory of coffees on
hand. Until 2y.o. daughter rips them off.

Shameless Plug for GMail...
Every order I have placed has a confirmation email, stored in my GMail...
I also use my Coffee Ledger spreadsheet to track all my orders / purchases
/sales ... keeps it straight...

I have a record of my SM orders in my database :-)

This is a multi-part message in MIME format.
Sometimes it seems people think GMail is the only email that can store or
sort or categorize or whatever. How silly. I have email order responses from
Sweet Maria's for every order I've ever made and don't use Gmail and can
access the information even if internet down etc. Not that I ever look at
them or anything, what for? Some would just make me sad for coffees we have
not been able to get for years like this order...

Thank you for your order! Please save this email for your records. All UPS

Hi Aaron,
I guess you don't keep the e-mail confirmations of your orders?

Cameron, yes actually I do keep the e mail confirmations, until the
order actually shows, then I dump it. I figure at that point it's just
more cludge on my system. Guess I know better now though.
oh well

Agreed. I use Eudora and have virtually everything (minus spam) I
have every sent and received. Nearly 100,000 messages from SM
mailing list alone :0 At this rate, I could do one heck of a cost
analysis against the savings I have obtained from roasting my own coffee :)
