Around 20 RSVPed. Never know for sure. Historically around 24 to 30 end =
up
coming. In fact, some I fully expect to be coming haven't RSVP'd as
requested on info URL with number coming and/or if staying for Luau. =
Like I
assume you & Les and company are coming!
Smoking coffee wise it may not happen. Time has suddenly become tight =
with
ongoing 55 to 60 hour weeks. But we'll see. Having taken on running the =
café
Monday through Friday I've kept another Friday night and Sunday gig I =
alreay
had meaning Friday's are 17 hour doubles then Sunday night followed by =
short
sleep going into Monday. This'll continue until at least the end of June
when more will likely be known future wise with the café.
One other thing I need to bring up. In the past hosting three previous =
times
has cost us out of pocket anywhere from 150 to $300 dollars each time.
Finances are getting better but still extremely tight. I'm asking for
donations to help defray the cost of hosting and especially putting on =
the
dinner. (Realistic "bargain" value of the laua dinner easily $15 to $20 =
per
person but I'm not asking for that.) Anything will help. Either in =
advance
via PayPay to mckona or snail mail or day of the Gathering.

Les,
I suppose technically Yes and technically No! Yes because we didn't finalize
the date until it was confirmed to work for you, Alchemist and myself. No
because, well, you never "officially" RSVPed with head count
attending/dinner plans once PNWG V was announced! Or you did and I
accidentally deleted. Regardless this was one case where my "assuming" you &
Becky were coming was safe:-)

That is a good number to go by. Consider this my
RSVP lol (3 btw). I guess it would help if I
actually LOOKED at the link, but hey, like you
say, I assumed I know most of what is there.
That is a pity about the smoked coffee, but these
things happen. What is the cafe? I have not
paid that much attention here lately if it was discussed.

Alchemist,
Smoking coffee for PNWG V "may" still happen but no promises. I'll keep =
the
List and you directly posted if it comes about.
Café wise search the searchable archives (link at end of sig-tag) for =
"crazy
blend" and you'll find a bit of discussion I posted about it last week.

Better yet, I just searched my own filtered "coffee" in box. Got it!
Sounds like you are having a blast. It's is
constantly amazing when someone breaks out of the
"mediocre mold" of *$ and the like, how even
those who you would not expect to notice the
quality change, do notice. Quality is universal!
Well, good luck on the smoking.

I will be there with the VII(Can't disappointed Les). Looking into a
flojet and a 5 gallon bottle of water for the water supply.
I will change over the plug from 20 to 15 amps and run it it in economy
mode( one boiler at a time).
Cash will be in had to help you defray the cost of the great spread you
and Deb put out.
