I am sipping on an awesome shot of Panama Gesha as I type. What an
awesome cup of coffee. Full flavor from the front to the back of the
palliate. There is a hint of tobacco at the beginning then some
vanilla followed by hints of deep earthiness like a good Indonesian
followed by a mellow aftertaste with hints of chocolate. This was
roasted to a very nice Full-City. Yesterday I had a TV pot of
cinnamon roasted Gesha that had all the fruitiness that this bean is
famous for with a wonderful currant like finish. I will be ordering
when Tom gets the next round in even though I am on stash reduction.
It sure is fun enjoying this coffee at both roast extremes.

I just finished a # roast of Gesha and I think I have about 1-1/2
pounds left. This has to be one of my all time favorite coffees. I am
also looking forward to the new arrivals and hope Tom was able to get an
adequate supply that we can buy more than a single pound. If not, a
pound is much better than nothing.

Hi Left Coast Coffee Fiend!

I'd agree Gesha one of my all time favorites, but "only" coming in 2nd. =
Wish
Tom could succeed in getting some of my #1 "special" occasion treat =
coffee,
that would be ISH! Zero ISH, 1# Gesha left in stash...

Hello my upper West coast friend,

More Gesha coming to SM that I won't be able to resist, still have a
precious half pound of Kowali Blue Mountain. I guess those are as close
to heaven in a pot as I could ever imagine. And I have another order due
Wednesday of Guatemala Fraijanes, El Salvador SHB Pulp Natural,
Nicaragua FTO Esteli and Kowali Typica XF. So much for stash reduction.

I see you are getting ready for another Pacific Northwest Gathering,
number V, that I wish so much I could attend. I read the menu and
drooled. But so far I have had two back surgeries this year, finally
going back to work full time Monday, and my wonderful better half had a
shiny new knee installed in January, two weeks after my first surgery.
We are a mess and in no condition to travel for a while.

First day of the hurricane season and we had a small tropical storm. I
hope that is not a sign of things to come. Not much wind but we did get
5 and a half inches of very badly needed rain.

Sorry for so much OT, but it has been a while and I had a little
catching up to do.

Terry
