This is a multi-part message in MIME format. I'm a newbie, using the FreshRoast Plus 8 machine. I find that it roasts = the beans too quickly, even though I try various means of slowing it = down. I'd love to read some comments by experienced roasters on the = iRoast2 vs. Nesco. I'm after a longer, more controlled roast, and only = small batches. Thank you for your opinions. This is a multi-part message in MIME format. I started with a Nesco then moved to an I-roast and finally to a hottop. = Of the first two the I-roast is far superior. You have more control with = the latter. The Nesco tends to make all roasts taste similarly kind of = like a crock pot does for stews. The I -roast tends to bring out more of = what makes each bean distinctive in it's roasts.
