Topic: Roasting DB Update Coming Soon (4 msgs / 242 lines)
1) From: DJ Garcia
I'm working on a substantial update to my MS Access-based Roasting DB
application, and am looking for feedback from current users on any =
current
problems or pet peeves. You can send it to the feedback link in the main
Roasting DB page:http://improbablystructuredlayers.net/CoffeeRoastingDB/CRDBHome.htmSome of the upcoming changes:
- GUI improvements (I hope) to the Coffees, Sessions and Timing Panel =
forms.
They will be larger, but still be suitable for 1024x768 screen =
resolutions
(just). Anything smaller you'll have to scroll. But in this day and age =
...
- New quick filters in the Coffees and Sessions forms
- New auto-reading function to a pre-set interval in the Timing Panel
- New Profiles form to maintain roaster program profiles for analyzing
session readings against the roaster profile used, now that I have a
programmable HT :-)
- Generic and form-specific usability improvements, because everything =
can
always be improved
Happy roasting,
DJ
