I am sipping on my second ristretto of 2/3 Brazil Yellow Bourbon and
1/3 Kenya Gethumbwini post roast blended.  The Bourbon is a nice city
roast and the Gethumbwini is a full city plus.  The job of the Bourbon
is to tone down and give body to the Gethumwini which it does a great
job doing.  Wow what a perfect explosions of flavor!  The first sips
have awesome hints of blackberry followed by cherry and grape with an
awesome plum aftertaste that is sweet and clean.  I know Tom doesn't
advocate shots using Kenya coffees, but it doesn't get much better
than this!  Well, this one is gone, the Cremina is still  on, so I had
better go pull another shot!  I'll be gone the next few days learning
new turning techniques in Portland.
