          As some of you may remember, Granddad John and I became enthralled
with "Home Roasting" about a year ago . . . I learned all about the coffee
plantations from Tom's great Cupping events all over the world, and we have
enjoyed some FANTASTIC cups of coffee.  But now we must give it all up,
including the decafs.  SOooooo . . . here's what I have and what I am
willing to send to anyone who is interested in a bargain . . . I must
ask only for the shipping charges.  PLEASE RESPOND privately . . .NOT on
this list.
        I have: THREE West Bend Popperys  . . . Two Poppery II's and One
of original Poppery
                  One Hamilton Beach Popcorn Pumper, that works VERY well
too.
One VERY nice Bodum French Press with the extra filter from Sweet Marias
                  Two Black Cone Filters, one for a Thermos
                  Book:  Home Coffee Roasting by Kenneth Davids
                  I even have a few green beans that I'll throw in with the
popperys
I'll do this the same way we do the "Traditions" . . . Only difference is,
you will have to pay the postage.  Just email me as to which of the items
you want . . . single note for each item.
On July 10th, I'll put all the names in a hat and let GrandDad draw the
names . . .AND, I will inform you of the results via private email, then you
can give me your snail mail address.

Yes, there is definitely a BIG tear in my eye!  Afterall, this is where I
learned how to spell "Espresso" . . . where I learned how to make the best
Pineapple Upside Down cake in the whole world, in an Oil Core Skillet . . .

Seriously, some questions are begged-
   1. It's curious that you and John must simultaneously "give it all up,
   including the decafs. " My mind is racing to imagine what the exclusion of
   coffee would alleviate- in two separate people.
   2. Most caregivers assert that they are practicing. They can bankrupt
   you for the privilege of practicing on you.
Liberace and Virgil Fox both used to practice. I understand Liberace
preferred not to be heard rehearsing, but a discreet "Church mouse" could
listen to Fox set registrations at Riverside Baptist. These artists made
their living performing, not practicing.
Other craftsmen might take a lesson. We coffee roasters are always learning,
but sometimes we prefer the shiny pushbutton function.
