To throw a fly in the name ointment I may be starting with a biz' partner.
(Another fellow home roaster victim of hitting their 50s and hence corporate
America right sizing. Hint, he was in charge of the huli-huli chicken PNWG
V) While he has no problem with mcKoffee or mcKona etc. the Kafe name may
have just hit me. When I first started drinking coffee and chasing fresh
roasted whole beans in 1984 there was a place ahead of their time in
Vancouver called Coffeeville USA. They specialized in fresh roast whole bean
sales, sadly long since out of business. So possibly maybe Konaville Kafe...
