That is great news to hear as this will be my first winter roasting
in Alaska (beans that is!) and that is withOUT a garage. Yep, Ima
hardy lot indeed....But I do have a nice sized rear deck that I have
been using to roast on this summer. There is usually a breeze or
wind that blows the chaff away. Now if my Popaire 2 popcorn popper
will just hold up. I have a Westbend Poppery as a back up that I
found at the SPCA thrift shop. Im really excited about home roasting
and working on an order with Sweet Maria's. Right now all I have is
the Malawi Muzuzu #1 which are absolutely pass out wonderful!

"nice sized rear deck". Now, if THAT doesn't create a word picture, I
don't know what does. Just for the record, does that mean large or small?

Whooooo, thanks for nailing the trivia...I had just seen a picture of
someone's roasting setup crunched between the side of the house and
an alley and was thinking whew! it may be cold here at times but but
my deck will, let's just say, be very accommodating for that purpose.
