Yes, it is. My IR2 does that sometimes; mainly dependent on the ambient
temperature (the warmer the ambient, the more likely it is to do that)
because that's part of the way iRoast controls the temp of the roast. It
slows down to increase the temp and speeds up to lower it. Oscillating
between the 2 speeds means that it is maintaining a temp. I think.
Someone else may have a different (and more accurate) answer, but that's my
impression of what's happening.
