Hi,
I am trying to get the midrange ht thread somewhat back on the track, or
rather sidetrack it to my personal concern will all these nice ajustable
features in a real roasting session be possible to keep track of and change
even for a blind operator?
HT has originally used sounds but only to alert about the roast, and from
reading the describtion on the ht usa side all efforts are geared towards
the visual reading of the display.
As I understand the manual you change parameter with one button, and then
there is an up and a down button to change values for the selected parameter
e.g. fan speed of course you can memorize the number of times to press each
button, but it gets too complicated you both have to remember what you are
changing now and also the number of settings for the parameter again e.g.
fan speed and all the other things you can set so it gets rather
complicated! Therefore sounds that would indicate wich parameter you are
on would be nice, but I am sure this has not been considered! '
If I am right well the classic HT still roast fantastic sm beans, and I can
use the money for an upggrade to buy even more beans!

Claus,
I forwarded your post to Hottop. I think it's an interesting =
perspective.

Hi,
Thank you, I must admit that when it comes to changes to hardware we very
rarely see such things purposely made, but it could be made if they want
to, and it does not even have to cost extra money.
