Called Shop Espresso today for a status report on my Livia 90A.
Turns out that the solenoid valve was shot (not just gunky) and the
pressurestat may need replacing as well. So I couldn't have fixed
this myself. It should be ready by Friday. (They're replacing the
shower screen and gasket, too, which they do for all repairs). Using
Silvia is a comparative PITA, but still not onerous, and I do get
nice shots and foam--just takes longer for the latter. Still not
gonna bother PIDing it.
