Our hosts are now selling these 2 drip brewers. I've had good success with
other Bodum products and think the Kona model looks interesting.http://www.sweetmarias.com/prod.brewers.shtml#bodum_drip_brewersAnyone on the list try these yet ... or is it new to market?
cheers,
Scott

Had me worried at first thinking it was going to be a Bodum electric brewer.
Only had 5 electric bodum vac pot chambers crack before giving up on them
for good... But pour over, that's another story.

I've not used these, but I've used the plastic thermos pour over.
They are handy at times, I only wish I didn't have to sit there and
watch and keep pouring in more coffee. Would be nice to just pour it all
in and let it drain. I also wonder since the water that hasn't been
poured in is slowly losing heat, if I've lost some flavors doing that.
But even my one cup Swiss Gold drip pour over doesn't really hold a
whole cup (12-16 ozs) of water at a time. Would be nice if they did.

I've used a small Bodum pourover in the past, when money was tight and a
new brewer out of the question. It seems to me that these new models are
designed to be all about presentation as the coffee would be the same if
one was pouring into a thermos as into the very attractive glass
receptacles they come with. This isn't a bad thing, as long as you
realize when you buy it that the largest part of the money you are
spending is going for style rather than to increase the quality of the
coffee in your cup.
