Hi Stephen,
I Bought a pound or two of the Lerida Estate Peaberry. I have not had the
opportunity to try it, but am still looking forward to enjoying it soon
(maybe before the others arrive). As miKe said, and as Tom stated in his
review, the Gesha is so unique that a blind cupping is anything but blind.
You can smell and taste that unique Gesha flavor right away from all the
others.
That said, I expect the Lerida to be different from the Gesha but when Tom
describes it as "Well-defined lemon essence lingers above an unobtrusive
caramel sweetness, and right through the aftertaste. Refined but in no way
uninteresting, citrus blossom aftertaste lingers, making me wonder who sent
the bouquet of flowers and hid them somewhere in my cupping room?", I fully
expect it to be a Panama prize also.
