Sandy, sounds interesting. Wish I could hear you play/sing some. I've =
read where you've talked about doing that before. What kind of music do =
you play/sing? (I'm currently listening to a Rory Block cd).
To get back to more on coffee. I ordered a pound of the Panama Bambito =
Estate. After reading some of the posts earlier on the Panama offerings, =
I wish I would have ordered another pound (I did like my 1800 m estate, =
though).
I don't know if I'm different from you others or not. I like to order a =
couple of pounds of different types/regions of coffee. And, I drink them =
all, I don't "stash" them. My last order (Saturday) was 2#'s each of =
Costa Rica Naranjo Caracol Peaberry, Columbia Huila-San Ausgutin =
Microlot, Tanzania NgoroNgoro Convent, Kenya Thika Gethumbwini Peaberry =
and one# each of the aforementioned Panama and a Kenya AA =
Nyeri-Karatina. Oh, that's only 10#. The other two pounds was the =
African Highlands WP Decaf (for evening drinking). By the way, can =
somebody explain to me what a "peaberry" is (this will be my first =
drinking of one).
So far, I have not ordered/drank the same coffee twice. I think this is =
my 4th order? and my first with the 12# USPS priority mail flat-rate =
shipping. I can't wait to get it. Does anybody have an idea of about =
when it should arrive to my location (Flagstaff, Az)? Late this week? =
Next week?
Sorry, for the rambling, Frank

I'm a singer/songwriter--I guess you could call my genre "folk,"
though I've also written and recorded rock, blues, country and even
Cajun. The style I usually perform is "original classic folk," which
uses folk instrumentation and structure but my own songs. Not "alt-
folk" like Ani DiFranco, or "contemporary singer-songwriter" style
like you more commonly hear on rock stations; think more like Tom
Paxton, Stan Rogers. Tom Lehrer, Steve Goodman, Cheryl Wheeler, early
Joni Mitchell, later Joan Baez--but with lots of humor thrown in. I
play guitar, dulcimer, bass and sometimes banjo. Most of my songs are
serious (but not introspective or depressing), but I seem to be
better known for the funny and/or topical ones. I very, vary,
rarely write songs about love or relationships.
