Topic: more Solis Maestro comments (28 lines)
1) From: Jim Friedlander
Now that I've had the Maestro for a while, I thought I'd add to my
comments.
This grinder rocks! It's beautiful, quiet, produces a most consistent
grind and has a great quality feel to it. And, astoundingly, not a
stray grain of coffee has landed on the counter, or the Maestro, or
anywhere else. No pounding necessary either.
Just so you don't think I'm gushing about it, I do have a couple of
suggestions for improvement:
1). There should be a way to lock the grind adjustment; I've readjusted
it accidentally. 2). The piece of clear plastic that lets you know the
fineness of the grind should be something other than clear. 3). The
grind bin could have slightly better handles on it, to make it easier to
pull out and push in. 4). The front-mounted grind switch could be a
little easier to press, so that you don't have to hold the back of the
grinder when pressing the switch (though I must add that I have the
grinder on a piece of cloth so as to catch the non-existent spillage).
All for now,
jim
