Topic: OT: In Iraq - HOT! (5 msgs / 71 lines)
1) From: Sean Cary
Not as hot as Kuwait, but it was 125+ today at 3pm when I was out...
Kuwait was nuts, the AC went out at 1000 when we were all asleep after
flying over from Cherry Point...and the heat was like a weight, it was
amazing within seconds the tent was unbearable. We flew via Bangor Maine
and Liepzieg Germany (had a beer at 10am my body time)... Good enough
flight, they jam us with food the entire way.
Fallujah is the paradise I left in '06 - and now we are stacked three to a
room - in the same space I had my own room last time, so it is even MORE
fun. I know how PO True must feel on ship.
The "coffee box" was shipped today by my loving wife, and I ordered a French
Press Mug - so I will be out of coffee purgatory soon.
Take care all!
Sean

Sean,
Glad to hear you had a safe trip.

At least you don't have a bunch of mid-shipmen doing man overboard
evolutions with your tent.
It's hard to get any rest when your accommodation is doing a square dance
across the Pacific.
