I am sure we can do it - to truly be efficient with international
now, you need to buy exactly the ammount that will fit in the new
flat rate international box. I think thats 12 lbs. anyway, email us
(such as info), not the list. HasBean in the UK is
good ... the guy Steven is a really nice guy. Most of their stuff
comes from one broker, and that is always a drawback. But he has a
lot of interesting coffees. Please don't be offended, but the quality
of coffee in Germany has been in freefall for the past decade, and
the fact that Hamburg is a major coffee port doesnt help. There is so
much consolidation in the european roasting market, and so few coffee
brokers - they cater to huge clients and their interests, which are
quite different than the interests of a micro-roaster.
Inter-American, Rothos, Volcafe, Atlantic, all these huge
multi-national brokers are very much volume oriented, even in their
so-called "specialty coffee" selections (which are actually just
generic pooled regional lots). Anyway, you all do have that funky
Dieckman roaster over there, which is interesting, and I notice that
Hearthwares are available too.
