Topic: First Cup! (4 msgs / 82 lines)
1) From: Sean Cary
My "stash" arrived - I had roasted up 4 lbs before I left...
Have to figure out a clean up process (No sinks in my general vicinity...) -
but MAN was it good. A Mex Oaxaca that I over roasted a bit - tad bit of
oil on the beans (I was in the process of packing/cleaning before I had to
leave while I was roasting and it got away from me).
WOW - I missed coffee. Last cup I had was 26 Jul sitting with my wife the
morning I had to leave...
My body sucked it up like a sponge - I did get re-introduced to the PIA that
is my single cup. I end up taking the insert out and pouring right onto the
grounds - and stirring it to get all the water through. I have a French
Press mug that I ordered from Amazon coming, hoping that eases my cleanup
tasks a bit.
Oh well - back from Coffee Purgatory.

If you mean the swiss gold single cup brewer, you may want to try grinding a
little coarser to speed up the drip. It still takes a good 3-4 minutes for
mine to get all the water through, but that sounds about right for soak
time, doesn't it?
