I asked the original question about bars, because I was wondering how
important that modification can be on the new Silvia. Supposedy the new
model makes that adjustment easier than the old one. But it looks like thi=

Sorry. 1 bar = 100 kiloPascals. Sea level
atmospheric pressure is 1.01325 bar. FWIW, a
Pascal is one Newton per square meter, with a
Newton being one kilogram meter per second
squared (force = mass times acceleration).
I disagree about espresso grinders. Once one
owns an espresso machine on the order of a
temperature regulated Gaggia single boiler or
Rancilio Silvia, upgrades in grinders provide
bigger bang for the buck than upgrades in
espresso machines. Check out the Titan Grinder
Project on Home-barista.com for very good information on grinders.

And nobody mentioned adjusting pressure in the New Silvia, alas!
This one goes to 11,
