1) From: George
Happy birthday Stephen.
Hey, someone else who has a birthday this week. Just wish the 13th was on
Friday this year instead of Thusday. I always have good luck on Friday the
13th. Oh well, one condolence, it's the only day this week that it is to be
sunny and no rain or thunderstorms.
Again, happy birthday to a fellow Virgo.
George

Happy Birthday George and Stephen.
I do enjoy reading your comments, and all those who contribute. This has
been an interesting hobby, and very rewarding. My birthday is the 16th, I
am waiting for my Guatemala Antigua-Finca Yellow Bourbon and Guatemala -
Finca Ocana from SM. Hopefully these arrive by end of week for enjoyment
with friends.
Happy Birthday Virgos,
Robert

Happy Birthday to you, Robert. The coffees you chose sound like
perfect birthday coffees. I roasted the rest of my Panama Autumn Lot
#2 Mama Cata Gesha for my birthday.
Enjoy yours and have a great year!

Well, I've noticed there are a lot of Roberts and a lot of Sept.
birthdays on this list - mine is the 28th. Happy Birthday, Stephen,
George, and Robert!

Maybe the Roberts should consider doing what the Mikes did - alter the
names slightly, such as miKe, Mike (just plain), etc....

Happy Birthday Stephen. Remember, Sweet Marias only sells good beans.
Tastes and likes differ. One fellow on the list doesn't have the same
taste in coffee as me. If you are looking for the deep dark earthy coffees
getting rants and raves, in all likelihood won't come from me. I do like a
good Sumatra or Monsooned, but they are not my favorites. The nice thing
about Tom is he cups the faithfulness to the origen, not simply what he
likes. You and I have that luxury!

Well, as one of the many Virgos (15th)on this list (I know this
because we did a "What's your birthday" thread a while back) I would
like to wish us all a happy birthday...
As to whether there's sun or rain, I couldn't care less.... At my age
I'm happy just as long as I'm there to see whatever it is... :-)

Gosh, there sure are a lot of Virgo's in this group. I can add two more to
our fold. My wife on the 23rd (10 days after mine and 10 years younger),
my ahh humm mother-in-law on the 25th.
Again, happy birthday to all of you that share the September Virgo
designation.
Oh, for a little info on my special day. In 1948 on September 13th, the
Virgo constellation was directly over where I was born (Syracuse, New York).
That makes me what some call a double signed Virgo.

I just roasted my birthday coffee. A half pound of Sumatra Mandheling =
in my Bravi roaster (haven't used this since getting the first of two =
Gene Cafe's). The second half pound roast was in the Gene Cafe and was =
Sumatra Lake Tawar.
Can you tell I love my Sumatras? I only have Mandheling, Gayo, Tawar, =
Aged, and organic Sumatras in stock. Oh, almost forgot, wife has 3 =
different Sumatras in Decaf.

Sumatra is a favorite in my house, too! My wife and I both love them. I
have a couple pounds of Sulawesi to try that may join the list...
I roast again tomorrow!
