Well, I went and got what I could afford, two grinders. One from
EBay, which I hope will work well, I will use it at home, but mostly
in my many travels, it is a Vintage German Armin Trusser Coffee
Grinder Mill. I got a decent price for it - actually, still a few
hours on it, but can't tell much, though a few folks took a look for
me. I also want it for the atmosphere I am trying to build.
Then I got the Maestro Plus Conical Burr Mill, which combined is all
I could afford, or will be able to for quite a while. I know all of
the different opinions, but I went with mine and what I could get. I
think they will be nice additions to my new coffee nest I am
building, not to mention another 16 pounds of coffee coming in over
the next three days. Gets me up to 30 pounds and I feel good with that.
Silly or not, this is what I have done.
