Topic: Brett's Zass and French Press Method (44 lines)
1) From: Brett Mason
I was asked off-list for my method for Zass & French Press, so here it
is! Now I do realize that many will wish to correct me on this method -
OK, fine, go ahead...
But for the few, the courageous, here's my method, with a small but growing
list of adherents....
Just for starters, I have an old Zass - 151, and
  an older Zass, 499, and
    an old Armin Trosser, and
      an old Cory Grindmaster, and
a Cory that's now in Eddie's posession, and
a Rocky which I believe cannot grind coarse enough for a French
Press the way I like it...
Here's the method:
  0. Gotta have a Zass,
  1. Grind as coarse as possible, one and a half drawers full, into the
French Press. (about 4oz dry measured ground coffee)
  2. Water just under boiling,
  3. Pour over grounds in French Press, and stir
  4. Allow to steep 3 to 4 minutes,
  5. Press and pour
  6. Dive in!
  7. Quaff the sweet, sweet sweet nectar of the Gods!
And did I mention that I have been corrected on this method by Mike
himself? I must have done something right!
Best regards and Hugs!
