One of my poker students has a brother who is a physician in Northern =
California. I sent him some of my home roast. Next thing I know he =
started to e-mail me and order roasted coffee from Tom. Today I got this =
from him:

You have crteated another convert I have just ordered my =
technivorm, maestro burr grinder & filter...I will have to see if I can =
change my habits & not reheat...I will probably try reheating & if I can =
taste a difference I will try to find the time to make smaller batches =
instead of a pot that ^ keep hitting on all day..nuking as needed...I am =
definitely a coffee addict now I can see if I can upgrade my taste its =
hard to overcome 3a.m. county hospital e.r. coffee which I was "raised" =
on it was kind of like some kind of grey toxic petrochemical spill & =
tasted atrocious but kept you awake for sure....if coffee was wine this =
stuff would be sour thunderbird...anyway I am really excited about =
trying to upgrade my addiction, which wouldnt have happened without your =
help.hope you have agreat birthday,& I will give you a followup after I =
use my new rig. you ever add a pinch of chickory to your coffee? thanks =
so much david
I told him he has just entered the world where Folgers is the F word. =
Three more months and he will be home roasting.

Perhaps also suggest a stainless steel thermos - I do this to keep my wife'=
s
coffee hot all day, right out of the clarity... Would dramatically enhance
the all-day flavor at a small investment point...
