Topic: OT: +Salter Scale Interference (17 lines)

Many years ago, I had a bag phone cell phone. It's output was 3 watts
instead of the milliwatts on the handheld units. (I loved that phone - It
could drag in a signal and get back out better than most)
Anyways, I kept the phone bag down on the floorboard "hump" in the Ford
Explorer I drove then. One day while driving down I-10 between New Orleans
and Baton Rouge with the cruise control set on about 60 MPH, I got an
incoming call. Immediately, the car slowed to about 50 - all on it's own.
When the call was over, it sped back up. Ever since then, I keep the cell
phone usage to a minimum.
