I roasted up a batch of the Ethopian Harrar Horse Green stripe that I
had from last years harvest last night and did up a cup of it this morning.
Wow... the blueberry was amazing. When it was very hot it was a spicy /
blueberry taste, as it cooled the spicy subdued quite a bit but the
blueberry became more prominent. When it was at room temp, still very
very boo berry. I also did up a lot of the horse 30 that was famous
for it's blueberry as well.... it's still got some to it but the stripe
was much more intense.
We will see what it is like after about 3 days, if I remember that's
when the 30 really started peaking in its berry flavor.
For any interested I did it in an I roast 1
5.65 ounces
3 minutes at 375
3 minutes at 400
2 mnutes at 425
actually stopped it a few seconds shy of 8 minutes, right before second
crack hit. I could smell it getting right there but didnt let it do so.

I did one of those "end of the bean" blends today. It was 80% Guat and 20%
Green Stripe. The first thing my wife said when she caught a wiff of the
cup as I brought to here in the living room was, "This must be Horse." The
Blueberry was shining through even at that low of a percentage. Not a bad
blend.

Thanks for posting the numbers - I think I'll try that to compare
with what I have been getting.
