OH neat!! ...Great to meet another lurking Arctic roaster in my
territory at that!. (Im in the Dimond/Jewel Lake area). I guess we
wont be flying south with the geese, ha! Do you remember reading
that Anch was the coffee drinking capital of the world? or was it all
of AK? Just wondered if you saw that article in the ADN.. I don't
frequent the coffee huts on every corner, never did...guess Im too
cheap or dont believe in wasting $ plus the quality you get with a
home roast is far superior. I said goodbye to the bulk coffee in
Freddie's many months ago with great relief. Even before entering
the new world of coffee greens, I just knew it had to be better and
it was beyond all that I could have imagined. This morning's wonder
was SM's Zimbaawe AA - Dandoni Estate, was that ever good! I really
love the Kenya's. Im sure you have your favorites too. This wiil be
my first winter roasting outside but Im not worried in the least.
After 25 years here, if I cant take 5-10 minutes outside, I better
check out my parka and hang it up!
