Well, I just thought I would share with you all my experience with
Guatemala Acatenango. I can't pretend to identify all the flavors
involved - not experienced enough for that! But I will share that it
is a good cup of coffee, full, rich, enough body to feel, yet retains
what I have come to recognize as common Central American coffee
traits. This cup is particularly good in that I have been saving this
coffee for my birthday (today), and it caps off a nice evening spent
at a nice restaurant with my wife. When asked about an after-dinner
espresso or coffee, I politely declined, knowing what I had waiting
for me at home! And of course, since the waiter had been friendly and
conversational during the evening, I mentioned my new hobby of home
roasting, which piqued his interest, of course.
So allow me to drink a toast to Tom and Maria, to this list and the
many fine people here, and wish you all an excellent cup of coffee,
whatever that may be for you!

Happy Birthday, Robert.
And yes, Guats are good coffees. I've been drinking the Maravilla for
almost two years now. :)
