Topic: OT Pipe organs (3 msgs / 53 lines)

This is WAAAAYYYYY OT....
Ray often talks about pipe organs. I was listening to NPR today when a
show called "Pipedreams" came on. It is devoted to pipe organ music.
Anyone who is interested in pipe organs can hear the latest couple
episodes at pipedreams.org.

Wow! Thanks, Brian. I looked at their site and clicked on the George
Wright link. That was a couple of hours ago...
When I was at Thuy Hoa and set up WTFO as a 250 watt bootleg AM
station on 1MHz, we only had Kidde Construction's elevator music, an
Akai tape deck and tapes from some of the guys with their favorite
music they'd dubbed before I got the AR turntable.
My HiFi Record George Wright Encores at the Mighty Wurlitzer was heard
often and provided a unique TACAN signal for pilots.
I don't know if anyone else liked my music, but I had a lot of Big
Band and Jazz on vinyl, too. Maybe my coffee shop will be more like a
sound studio with an Allen digital George Wright special organ. I have
my 1st class FCC license, so I'd go to jail if I pulled a bootleg gig
now.
WTFO is probably available... Anyone have a spare Cell Phone to loan?
Cheers, Mabuhay -RayO, aka Opa!

Pipedreams has been around since the early eighties. I used to annoy
my college roommates with it.
