fifty cents a brewed cup.
Mike, maybe you make weak coffee or just weren't strong at math. ;-)
I've never counted them exactly, but I'm pretty certain I can't get an
enjoyable 80 cups out of a pound. Quick googling reveals 30-40 is a good
estimate, so that's about a dollar a cup. I can deal with that for
special occasions.
Or maybe my sources are wrong... Anyone ever counted how many espresso
shots, aeropress mugs, press mugs, or drip mugs per pound?
That would be interesting to know.....

I drink a 12 or so ounce cup of coffee. I use from 10 to 10.5 grams of
coffee grounds to brew it. that comes to about 50 or so cups.....
close but not quite 80 now if you are talking the standard 6 ounce is
it? cup for coffee then yes you might get 80 midget cups of coffee.
