So there I was this weekend, roasting an extra amount of coffee
because I have a briefing I give this week. I had about 14 bags of
"left over" beans. You know, 1/4 cup of this, 1/8 cup of that. I
couldn't tell you the exact names, but there was some from Australia,
a few different versions of Columbia, Guatamala, Mexico, Costa Rica,
and Nicaragua. One I combined them all into the left over bag from
Peru, I had about 3 pounds worth of green. It will be interesting to
see how this "blend" turns out.
With my only other greens being about 2 pounds of Nicaragua, it was
time to order some more. I ordered 10 pounds of that "unkown origin"
Columbia. I can say with confidence from experience that if Tom orders
an unkown from Columbia I will like it.
It's getting close to that time of year when I order enough to last me
through the holiday season so I don't have to worry about running out
while Sweet Maria's is shut down for a couple weeks (or so it feels
like). I may just stockbup on that Columbian lot.
