1,700 miles was just too much for me to overcome right now, so I'm jealous
of everyone who could make the anniversary party! I think Tom should send
party favors to all of us who are more than 1,500 miles from Sweet
Maria's;^) It is incredible to me that from the get go through the 6+ years
that I have been doing business with Tom & Maria that I have felt as if I
was doing business face-to-face with a friend at a brick & mortar store.
Someday I really hope that I get the opportunity to actually meet them in
person! I was hooked from the moment I started reading Tom's reviews. I
could sense immediately that Tom both knew & loved what he was doing. Then
what bliss to discover that the quality of the products and service from
both of them surpassed the quality of the reviews. Tom & Maria, I
congratulate you on the 10th anniversary of SweetMaria's and hope that you
will be around for many more. In the meantime I must go roast some of the
wonderful Yemen Mokha Mattari FC+ that I bought from you on the Hottop that
I bought from you before I run out of brewable coffee.
Tom, Maria, et al. wish I could be with you!
Thank You,
Elliott O'Reilly

probably a little jealousy in all of us so far away to make it a drop on by=
event. Especially the ones of us doing business with them for more than 6 =
years as there are several. Maybe send all the long term customers a shirt =
and a couple bags of that roasted coffee? Most of all I hope that all who a=
ttended had the kick ass time of their lives and save those memories for li=
fe. Feel rewarded for the ability to attend. Lucky Fellow Roasters!!!

ONLY 1,500 miles away. Try doubling that.

SO much safer then when I was here in '05...just bypass Baghdad on the
way up from Kuwait!
Make a left just past Ferris and you are right outside Fallujah, we
are in the old MEK headquarters (actually there are some neat pics of
the place from 2002 on Global Security!). Suggest and MRAP, they are
good to go!

Roasted coffee, especially homeroasted coffee would BLOW the minds of
the Marines here... I will take any homeroasted coffee and make it
for them, they have a bad habit of making the whatever grind...they
just keep a Maxwell can with "Good Coffee" on the duct taped top - and
it ALL goes in there, no matter the origin.
I do have a good friend who comes in my office and takes a deep breath
and says "man that smells SO good, can you make me a cup" who I take
care of out of MY stash!
