Topic: Iroast2 and noice cancelling headphones (3 msgs / 50 lines)
1) From: seth Grandeau
I have been having a lot of trouble hearing the cracks with my Iroast2, so =
I picked up a cheap pair of noise cancelling headphones. They cut out abou=
t half the "roar" of the Iroast2, but allow the snap/crack sounds to come t=
hrough very clearly. I roasted some IMV today and it was very easy to tell=
when first crack started and when it stoped. I'm sure some fancy BOSE NC =
headphones would be even better, but I'm very pleased with the results of m=
y cheapo set.

This might work for some people but not for all. If you are having this =
problem and can borrow a set of noise canceling ear phones try that =
before investing in a set.

What a great idea - I have a pair for my
woodworking - never thought to try it for roasting!
Thanks!
