Tom, what grind do you use in your vacuum brewer? I gave up on both the Cory and Bodum because. the return process stalled so often. I was using a cheap-o grinder which produced a lot of fines which I feel was the problem. I now have a Mazzer. It occurred to me that in the days when Corys were popular folks used grocery store coffee which has a very consistent grind. Comments? Bernard Gerrard
Hey Bernard, I tend to grind much more coarse than others do, but my Cory rarely stalls... just 2 cents... Brett On Nov 7, 2007 10:27 PM, Bernard Gerrard wrote: <Snip> -- Cheers, Bretthttp://homeroast.freeservers.com
Not Tom but for my Bodum and Mazer Mini I use a setting of 6 on the grinder. Never have a stall. Make sure your gasket is soft and supple. It might help to use a Yama cloth filter also.
