Happy Marine Birthday! I'd send you an animated card, but your set up
would probably block it! Send our best wishes to your whole gang
there, and make sure you enjoy some great coffee! Your many happy
returns mean our birthdays (4 July) will keep coming too!

I got to Thuy Hoa on 25 Dec 67. It didn't take long for even the meanest
intelligence to figure out that we were preceded by our brothers in arms-
Piles all over the beach of 105 and bigger brass didn't leave much to the
imagination!
As I've said before, Walter Kidde Construction had the best coffee on the
beach. I brought the best Barley Pop as "spares" from Clark.

Your tax dollars at work- If the base commander had known about WTFO and the

To follow on what Ray just said.
For those of you on this list, thank you for your service, both present and
past. Your deeds your honor, and your courage will not ever be forgotten.
