Thanks...good stuff.  Any input on how the fan affects the roast (beyond the
obvious effect it'd have of lowering temperature)?  It seems like fan power
could substantially change how the beans roast (just like baking in a
convection vs. diffusion oven).

These are the three I use the most besides the 2 that are pre programmed =
in by Hottop.To stay away from the confusing C,FC etc descriptions I =
will describe the roast instead:

Fan power used mostly for moving off chaff rather than a roasting =
variable. It does lower temperature somewhat but that is not it's =
primary function.The fan is programmed to come on just before first =
crack.
