Here are all the numbers for our tests. Got a couple of interesting results.
11/09/07 I roasted, she exercised while I roasted:
Her: 149/84 - 121/77
Me: 137/88 - 140/87
11/11/07 - Exercise only, watching the Chiefs blow a lead and lose the game
Her: 137/83 - 147/83
11/11/07 - I roast, she learns how to use my good old FreshRoast
Her: 153/90 - 140/81
Me: 139/86 - 150/86
11/12/07 - She roasts, I'm in and out of the room but only a bit
Her: 153/86 - 146/85 (Her work called near the end of the
session. The idiots she manages are her main stress input)
11/13/07 - She roasts and exercises, no interruptions, I'm not in the room
Her: 149/85 - 128/84
11/15/07 She roasts and exercises, no interruptions, I'm not in the room.
Her: 136/88 - 145/82. This was a Thursday, which is the day we get groceries.
She checked on a machine while we were out and got 145/94.
11/18/07 - I roast while we both exercise
Her: 138/84 - 150/80
Me: 130/81 - 134/93
From what I'm seeing it looks like the combo of roasting and
exercising will reduce your blood pressure if it's high, but if it
starts off normal it raises it a bit.
You can see that hers seems to be strongly influenced the the stress
of being a low-level manager sandwiched between layers of
idiots. The numbers from Thursday the 15th show this - just after
work while shopping she's still high. Later after we're done with
shopping, home and relaxed she's already back down to normal and
roasting + exercise raises her pressure.
My pressure tends to be normal so the whiff of caffeine raises it a bit.
So, what do we think? Looks like there's *something* going on here
but the question is just what it is.
