Topic: Naughty Ebay Seller (4 msgs / 51 lines)

Just for giggles, I went onto Ebay to see if folks had begun selling the
roasters the Behmor is replacing. I noticed that there is an ad for a
Coffee Kinetics roaster that consists mainly of the page about the
roaster (complete with pictures) from the SM website.
I wrote to the gang at SM about it, of course. I hope they have some
recourse and the ad gets pulled.

isn't this against eBays terms of service, using copyrighted content
that's not yours, or which you don't have permission to use, in your
sale pages? you could probably get the auction yanked or the seller
tossed, or both

If anyone needs help getting it removed, let me know. I deal with VERO (that
is the Intellectual Property department at eBay) on a day to day basis. You
will need a template email to send them with the appropriate information. I
would be happy to send you a copy of the email. Let me know if I can help.
