I've been through Olympus, Pentax 6x4.5 (stolen!), Mamiya 6x7, Bronica 6x7,
Fuji 6x8, Linhof 6x9, Nikon, Contax and Canon. For 35mm film Contax was my
choice - gotta love those Zeiss lenses, and much more reasonable than the
Leica counterparts which were beautifully over-engineered and out of my
budget as a system.
When I went digital, Canon became my body of choice (really wanted the
full-frame sensor) but I've been able to adapt Zeiss and Leica optics to it,
so I'm a really happy camper.
