Thanksgiving our oven broke. I refused to go to the mall, until after =
Christmas, to look at replacements, Instead I called to have a repairman =
come to the house. Last night the upstairs phone broke I refused to go =
to the mall until after Christmas. I told Lois we can just run up and =
down the stairs if we get a call until after Christmas. This morning , =
however, our toaster broke. I immediately informed Lois my sister is =
coming to visit Dec 7 with New York bagels. We are going to the mall =
this afternoon to get a toaster and telephone

Ha! I've cave in if someone was coming to my house with New York bagels. I
don't think really good ones exist in the Boston area these days - big
contrast to my younger days. How I miss great bagels...
Good luck with the mall trip - I hate malls, but a thousand times more this
time of year...
